In 1650, Mr. Lao Cheng, a native of Wuxian County in Jiangsu, opened a pharmacy store on Pozi Street, Changsha.

1782

In 1782, the store was officially named “Laojiuzhi Pharmacy Store”.

1938

In 1938, when the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression continued, the Wenxi fire destroyed the pharmacy store.

1941

In 1941, when the Chinese nation was in critical moments, the store invested a lot of manpower and material resources in the Movement of Resistance against Japan and Saving the Nation from Extinction.

1956

In 1956, Jiuzhitang Processing Factory was established in the form of public-private partnership and the trademark of "Zhi" brand started to be used.

1971

In 1971, the factory was renamed Changsha No. 1 Chinese Herb Factory.

1984

【Youbo】In 1984, the Institute of Biology was established, starting a decade of research and development.

1993

In 1993, Jiuzhitang Pharmacy Store was solemnly resumed on Huangxing Road, Changsha.

【Youbo】In 1995, Shuxuetong injection was successfully developed and Mudanjiang Youbo Pharmaceutical Factory was founded.

1998

In 2004, the company was renamed Jiuzhitang Co., Ltd., and Jiuzhitang was recognized as “China Well-known Trademark” by the Trademark Office under the State Administration for Industry and Commerce.

In September 2006, “Jiuzhitang” was recognized as “China Time-honored Brand” by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China.
